When I was in Ecuador, I met a fellow traveler, Kathryn from Bristol, at the hotel prior to heading to the Galapagos. We walked around Quito and ended up doing a full tour of the city the following day together. We became fast friends and had a great time on the boat. When we parted, we talked about traveling again in the future.
Well, I have been planning my trip to Antarctica, and now Kathryn is going with me! We are even going to be roommates on that ship and get a room the days before and after the cruise in Buenos Aires! How fun is that! I don't mind traveling alone and meeting people, but traveling with a friend and meeting people is going to be even more fun. Yippee!
